Terms of Service

1. Agreement & Platform Role
Welcome to DVARION. By accessing our web application, you agree to these operational Terms of Service. DVARION acts solely as a circular economy marketplace facilitator and escrow provider, connecting Verified Sellers with Renters/Buyers. DVARION does not own, manufacture, or directly lease the items listed on the platform.
2. Account Creation & Verification
Users must provide accurate identity and contact information. To list items, users must upgrade to a Verified Seller account by submitting valid GST details, business information, and bank payout credentials. DVARION reserves the right to suspend any account engaging in fraudulent activity, bypassing escrow, or providing false KYC documents.
3. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are legally obligated to provide accurate listing descriptions, high-quality images, and declare any pre-existing defects. Sellers must ensure the product is clean, functional, and handed over precisely on the agreed start date. Failure to fulfill an accepted booking may result in platform penalties or permanent ban.
4. Renter & Buyer Responsibilities
Renters agree to use the item carefully, strictly for its intended purpose, and without making any permanent alterations. Renters must return the item to the Seller precisely by 6:00 PM on the final booking date. Buyers purchasing outright agree that all sales are final once the delivery is verified.
5. Escrow & Security Deposits
To protect Sellers against theft or damage, Renters must pay a refundable Security Deposit alongside the rental fee. This deposit is held securely in a DVARION escrow account. Upon successful and safe return of the item, the deposit is automatically released back to the Renter's original payment method within 48 hours.
6. Payments, Fees & Cancellations
All transactions must be processed through the DVARION checkout gateway. Renters may cancel a booking for a 100% full refund up to 24 hours before the rental start date. Cancellations made within the 24-hour window will incur a 1-day rental charge to compensate the Seller for reserved time.
7. Handover Logistics
Users must adhere to the delivery method selected at checkout (Self-Pickup or Delivery). For self-pickup, Renters must collect and drop off the item at the Seller's designated GPS coordinates. Both parties are strongly advised to take time-stamped photographs of the item during both pickup and return.
8. Damage, Late Fees & Disputes
Normal cosmetic wear is acceptable. However, significant damage, missing parts, or late returns will result in immediate deductions from the Escrow Security Deposit. Late returns are charged at 1.5x the daily rental rate. In case of a dispute, DVARION's mediation team holds final authority based on handover photographic evidence.
9. Liability & Limitation
DVARION shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of rented equipment. While we enforce strict verification and escrow systems, users engage in transactions at their own risk. Maximum platform liability is limited to the fees collected for the specific transaction in dispute.
